WHY should I enable blocked content?

Microsoft blocks scripts and ActiveX content by default in updated versions of their Internet Explorer web browsers. It's meant to keep you safe from malicious scripts which somebody could be running to cause mischief on your computer. If you're visiting a trusted website, though, it's okay to enable scripts in order to view the website the way it was intended. In the case of KaitrinWilson.com, you need to enable scripts in order to utilize the JavaScript which loads images in a nice overlay within the existing page instead of opening a new window every time.
